In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Vale Osteopathy. “You” and “your” refer to the person purchasing or accessing our content.
2. What our videos provide
Our videos provide general information and guidance about movement, exercise and musculoskeletal health. They are intended to help you understand your body and explore ways to move more comfortably and confidently.
The content is educational and is not a substitute for an individual assessment, diagnosis or treatment from a suitably qualified healthcare professional. Purchasing a video does not establish an osteopathic practitioner–patient relationship.
3. Purchasing and payment
All prices will be displayed on the relevant product page before purchase. Payment must be completed through the payment methods available at checkout.
Please check your order details carefully before completing your purchase. Once payment has been processed, access will be provided in accordance with the product description and these terms.
If you believe you have been charged incorrectly or experience a problem with your purchase, please contact us using the details above.
4. Access to purchased content
Access to your purchased video or programme will be provided through our website, subject to the terms displayed at the time of purchase.
You may need to register for a website account and sign in using the email address associated with your purchase.
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, access is intended for the individual purchaser and is not transferable to another person.
Any access period or other restrictions will be explained before you purchase.
We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that purchased content remains accessible. If you experience technical difficulties, please contact us so that we can help resolve the issue.
5. Health and safety
Exercise is not suitable for everyone in every circumstance. Our videos provide general guidance and have not been individually prescribed for you.
You are responsible for considering whether the exercises are appropriate for your circumstances and for exercising within your own capabilities.
If you have a medical condition, have recently undergone surgery, are pregnant or have recently given birth, or are unsure whether an exercise is suitable for you, seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional before starting.
Stop an exercise if you experience significant or unexpected pain, dizziness, numbness, weakness or other concerning symptoms. Seek appropriate medical advice if symptoms persist or worsen. Seek urgent medical assistance for symptoms that may indicate a medical emergency.
Do not use these videos to delay seeking medical assessment for new, unexplained or worsening symptoms.
6. Individual results
Everyone responds differently to exercise. We cannot guarantee that using our videos will relieve pain, improve a particular condition, prevent injury or achieve a specific result.
Your progress may depend on many factors, including your health, circumstances, consistency and the nature of your symptoms.
7. Intellectual property and sharing
All videos and associated materials remain the intellectual property of Vale Osteopathy or the relevant rights holder.
Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the purchased content for your own personal use.
You must not copy, record, reproduce, publish, distribute, resell or share the videos or their access links with other people without our prior written permission. You must not upload the content to another platform or use it for commercial purposes without permission.
Please keep your login details secure and do not share your account with others.
We may take reasonable steps to address unauthorised sharing, including restricting access where appropriate and lawful. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have.
8. Cancellations, refunds and statutory rights
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you have a problem accessing your content or believe it is faulty or not as described, please contact us.
Your cancellation rights will depend on the applicable consumer law and the circumstances of your purchase.
Where digital content is supplied immediately after purchase, we will obtain your express consent to begin supplying the content during the cancellation period and your acknowledgement that you will lose your statutory cancellation right once supply begins, where required by law.
If these requirements have not been met, your cancellation rights may remain in place.
Nothing in these terms removes or limits your statutory consumer rights. Where digital content does not conform to the contract, you may be entitled to remedies under applicable law.
Any refund or cancellation request will be handled in accordance with your legal rights and any applicable additional refund policy.
9. Technical requirements and availability
You are responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection and software to access our videos.
Access may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance, technical problems or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If a problem prevents you from accessing purchased content, please contact us so that we can investigate and seek an appropriate solution.
Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights where digital content is unavailable or does not conform to the contract.
10. Privacy
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
Personal information may be used to process your purchase, provide access to your content, respond to enquiries and meet our legal obligations.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Subject to the above, we are not responsible for losses arising from misuse of the videos or use contrary to the guidance provided, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms applicable to your purchase will be made available on our website. Changes will not remove statutory rights relating to an existing purchase.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, where applicable. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, nothing in these terms removes any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
